Transitioning from Empowerment to Leadership

The Puentes Initiative bridges the gap between structured support and independent living. Through community-centered vocational training and health services in Santa Cruz, we equip Bolivia's next generation with a toolkit for growth and a resilient foundation for their future.

The Bridge to Independent Living

Our program is built on the belief that dignity and independence go hand-in-hand. We provide a structured path for young adults in Santa Cruz to transition from assisted care to self-sufficient community leadership.

01

Engage & Listen

We begin by building trust and understanding the unique potential of every individual. We listen to their goals and identify the specific gaps in their journey toward independence.

02

Resource Integration

Bridging global support with local action, we provide training, health resources, and workspace. Every tool is carefully chosen to empower residents within the Bolivian urban landscape.

03

Sustainability

The final step is flourishing. We maintain a network of mentorship that ensures former residents remain supported as they build their own livelihoods and strengthen the community.

The Path to Independence

The Three Pillars of Our Program

Holistic Healing

Bridging the psychological gap through trauma-informed care and peer support, laying a stable foundation for a life of purpose.

Dignified Education

Equipping individuals with market-ready skills and professional mentorship, moving beyond survival toward true independence.

Community Connect

Fostering long-term belonging through community-led initiatives that reintegrate youth into a supportive urban network.

Pathways to Dignity and Independence

Our program is thoughtfully designed for resilient young adults in Santa Cruz, ages 16-23, as they transition from residential care systems into independent life. We are currently growing this initiative alongside experienced local and international partners to ensure every participant receives comprehensive support, ranging from vocational training and market-ready skills to vital life-management education. Every youth is viewed through a lens of inherent worth and unique calling, receiving relational mentorship that fosters long-term sustainability. As we develop this pathway, we prioritize applicants committed to the stewardship of their own futures through technical training, higher education, or local internships. This community-focused model ensures that as they move from institutional support toward self-sufficiency, they do so with a network of dignified care that empowers them to become leaders within the Bolivian urban landscape.
